Camps

Do you have an animal lover at home? Join our Jr. Zookeeper Day Camps or Summer Camp Programs, where kids get up-close encounters with cool animals, learn about habitats, conservation and much more. We’ll incorporate educational lessons from the Keepers, fun arts & crafts and lots of time to play on the park grounds.

2026 Day Camps:

• Available on select LCPS/FCPS holidays
• January 19, February 16 & 17, March 20, April 10
• $119 per child, per day
• 9am-4pm (drop-off is from 9-9:15am and pickup 3:45-4:00pm)

Day Camp Details:

• Please review our Jr. Zookeeper Camp Policies.
• Day Camps run from 9am-4pm and cost $119 per day.
• Campers must be ages 6-11. All children must have reached their 6th birthday by the day of camp.
• Please pack a peanut-free snack and full lunch each day. There are also snacks and refreshments available for purchase in the gift shop.
• Campers should wear close-toed shoes and clothes that can get dirty!
• To make this a special experience, we only accept 20 children per day. We require a minimum of 4 campers to run the camp. If the minimum is not met by 1 week prior to camp, a cancellation email will be sent out.
• Please note, per Virginia law, children under 18 are not allowed to work with animals.  While we have plenty of unique experiences during this camp, your child will not be directly caring for animals.
• Camp fees are non-refundable.

Week 1: June 22-26 :Rainforest Rumble
Week 2: July 6-July 10: Butterflies, Bugs & Bees
Week 3: July 20-24: Australian & African Adventure
Week 4: Aug 3-7: Get Wild with Reptiles
Week 5: Aug 17-21: Animals Around the World

Summer Camp Details:

• Please review our Jr. Zookeeper Camp Policies.
• Summer Camp weeks run from 9am-4pm Monday-Friday and costs $595 per week.  There is a 10% sibling discount offered on a 2nd child registered in the same week.
• Campers must be ages 6-11. All children must have reached their 6th birthday by the day of camp. (For repeat campers who have aged out, please send an email to booking@leesburganimalpark.com to discuss options).
• To make this a special experience, we only accept 20 children per week. We require a minimum of 4 campers to run the camp. If the minimum is not met by the week prior to camp, a cancellation email will be sent out.
• Please pack a peanut-free snack and full lunch each day. There are also snacks and refreshments available for purchase in the gift shop.
• Please note, per Virginia law, children under 18 are not allowed to work directly with animals.
• Camp fees are non-refundable within 30 days of the camp start date. There is 5% processing fee for any cancellations occurring prior to this window.
